The world’s longest running and most popular corporate sporting event will feature 13 events in 2014, with 3.5-mile road races scheduled in seven countries on five continents. It all begins March 6 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and runs through November 12 in Sydney.

There will also be seven U.S. events, and one each in Singapore, Germany, the United Kingdom and China. Nine of the 13 cities reached full capacity in 2013 as the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series attracted an all-time record 262,311 participants from 7,969 companies.

The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship will be conducted on the same race course on the first evening of the regularly-scheduled J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in London. This is the fifth year of the “Olympic-style rotation” of Championship cities, following successful events in Johannesburg (2010), Singapore (2011), Chicago (2012) and Rochester (2013). Details on the 2015 Championship — featuring the first place teams from 2014 Series events — will be announced later this year.

The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series, owned and operated by JPMorgan Chase & Co., celebrates team work. Unlike other road races, you cannot enter the Corporate Challenge as an individual and each event is held on a weeknight, immediately after work. Companies of all sizes are encouraged to enter, with a minimum of four employees required and no maximum.

J.P. Morgan will continue to make a donation on behalf of all Corporate Challenge entrants to worthy not-for-profit organizations in each Series city.
